TB, DK B, F, March 12, 2018
Brooklynn’s DaBomb (Hit It a Bomb / Mix and Mingun, by Mingun) is a 2018 dark bay filly currently in training at Churchill Downs with trainer Michelle Lovell. Her sire, Hit It a Bomb (War Front / Liscanna, by Sadler’s Wells) was a precocious racehorse who broke his maiden in his first attempt. Two weeks later he won the Irish Stallion Farms E.B.F. Star Appeal Stakes in Ireland, and then shipped to the America to win the $1,000,000 Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf two weeks after that. Entered into stud in 2017, Hit It a Bomb – War Front’s only Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup champion – currently stands at Spendthrift Farm in Kentucky. Thus far, among his first two-year-old’s, has three black type horses and two graded performers.
