WHAT OUR SYNDICATE PARTNERS SAY ABOUT US!
At Thoroughbred Racing Nation, we know that breeding and racing horses is also about comradery and fellowship. It’s about fond memories and shared experiences with friends and family while watching your very own horses grow and develop into athletes. Spending time with these magnificent creatures while they rest in the barn on shed row, and then celebrating their victories on the track is part of the magic of racehorse ownership. Below are testimonials from some of our syndicate partners sharing their experiences as Thoroughbred Racing Nation partners.
We are Delores and Warfield Miller of Richmond, Kentucky. I am a native Louisvillian but have lived in Richmond since the 70s where I met my husband while attending Eastern Ky University. We are retired professionals, me in Social Work, my husband Retired Military.
We became involved in TRN through an acquaintance by chance one day many years ago, Manny can give a more exact date, while attending racing at Churchill Downs. We have always been interested in horse racing but didn’t know at that time there was a club we could join. We are so happy we did. We have met some wonderful and friendly people when we get together and having opportunities to visit our horses is a thrill. Enjoying whole hog barbecue in years past and great socialization; visiting horse farms and seeing some of our famous sires, mares, and offspring, attending meetings, getting to know trainers and jockeys. It has been a blast over the years.
As we have aged and sometimes aren’t able to travel as much as we once have back and forth to Louisville and other outings we still feel as much a part of everything as we have in past years. Manny is a wonderful leader and horse lover and we consider him family.
One thing we would like to see happen if possible is to see our horses run closer to home and we know that depends on a number of factors breeding location for one but that would be an even better opportunity to meet and greet more often.
Thoroughbred Racing Nation has been a wonderful experience! Whether racing, breeding, or making new friends who share a common love of thoroughbreds and our sport, I have had nothing but a fantastic time over the 15 years I have been involved…I never would have imagined having the opportunity to watch Derby horses from the backside, or stand next to a Hall of Fame trainer as he watched his horses work…all made possible by my involvement with TRN…so many memories created, with more to come…
My wife and I have own small shares of several Thoroughbred Racing Nation horses over the past 20 years. We currently own shares in 3 breeding mares, which is a deal because we get an equal amount of shares in their foals. We get to watch foals develop into yearlings, then racehorses. We currently own small shares of 7 current or soon-to-be racehorses , so we often have a race with one of our horses running to look forward to. WHAT FUN!
I have been with Manny since around 2004. He is great. The TRN group is great. Everyone connected to it in any kind of leadership does everything to make you feel welcome and to provide any info you ask for. All the members are friendly and hospitable. It is a great group to be a member of.
I joined TRN in the mid 90’s to learn more about horse racing. Manny provided so many opportunities. I have enjoyed the outings at various farms as well as the outstanding speakers before Derby week. Where else can you be a part of horse ownership and experience the thrill of your horse running and winning at a track? Such good memories over the years with family and friends at TRN events.
We are one of the Owners of Fire Marshall Bill, Tyra Red, & her 2 Colts (Kozy Red & the Newest to be Named yet.) We have nothing but Wonderful things to say about Thoroughbred Racing Nation. We went to visit Fire Marshall Bill/watch him Train at La Croix in Kentucky and Manny along with everyone there were very nice & informed us on everything going on with Bill. It was also the Opening Week of the Kentucky Derby & we were taken Behind the Scenes to see another horse we were part owners of at the time that was Training at Churchill Downs. It was Very Fun/Interesting. We even got to watch her Train with the Derby Horses. TRN also has Several Events for Owners of Horses throughout the year. The one important thing to us is, we are always informed on the Health of our horses. Highly Recommend TRN!
I’ve been an owner with Thoroughbred Racing Nation since 2020 and it has been a remarkable experience. I was able to join a racing partnership where I owned a small percentage of a racehorse for just a $250 investment. The experience of seeing my horse race and win has been like nothing I could have even imagined. I started with a 1% ownership interest in one horse and now have interests in 4 horses including a broodmare and a gorgeous baby by American Pharoah’s full brother St. Patrick’s Day. Racing Nation has also allowed me to make so many new friends and acquaintances through the outings and educational events they offer their owners/partners. I’m really looking forward to the outing they have planned this summer in Ocala. I understand that several years ago they organized a racing trip to Ireland. Thoroughbred Racing Nation is a wonderful organization.
I have been involved with TRN for many years now and highly recommend this group and this organization.
I worked at the racetrack during college and was involved in a number of partnerships in my younger years as well as owning some mares and breeding on my own, so I have experienced racing from a number of different perspectives. Therefore, when I recommend TRN I have a good basis for comparison.
I appreciate that Manny has put together an organization that takes you right through from breeding to racing. Many of the horses racing for the group are second or third-generation TRN runners as many of the fillies retire as broodmares for TRN and go on to produce the next generation of TRN runners. I don’t know of any other partnership that consistently provides this level of continuity.
In addition to the racing experience, the group organizes many trips and social get-togethers. My personal highlight was a group trip to Ireland where we visited many of the major breeding operations and tracks including Coolmore and the Curragh. Manny arranged local hosts at each location and we did some sightseeing at castles around the countryside as well. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable experience and I met a great group of people.
Living in New Jersey I don’t get to a lot of the farm visits, but we now have Florida breds in addition to the horses racing in Kentucky and recently relocated a mare to NY. I just visited Tyra Red and her newest foal and look forward to NY breds racing in the near future.TRN horses have raced in Florida, at the Fairgrounds, in Indiana, in Ohio, at Keeneland and Churchill Downs. The variety of experiences is amazing whether you have been involved with horses your whole life or are new to the sport.
Communication to members is tremendous with a constant flow of newsletters, pictures, and reports from trainers. You can get involved with just one or two horses, or the entire stable. Either way, you will enjoy the experience and meet a great group of people. I highly recommend becoming involved. And if anyone would like to hear more about the group, I am always happy to talk about my experience.
It was a lucky day for me 11 years ago when I discovered Thoroughbred Racing Nation and their manager Manny Cadima.
TRN is a total thoroughbred owner’s experience – breeding, foal development, training, race strategies, and of course, the racing of your horses. It is a real-life look behind the scenes of not only a horse race but how the horses get to a race. I have learned so much about the industry since joining.
And there is no thrill that matches watching your horse grow from a foal to racing down the stretch in our TRN colors. I must also mention one of the best weekly newsletters out there, keeping you up to date with all the stable happenings.
Living the Dream!
Joining a partnership at Thoroughbred Racing Nation offers our partners the experience, the thrills, and the benefits of ownership at a fraction of the cost. Rather than one person purchasing one horse, multiple partners can purchase a percentage of one or more horses – spreading the financial risks and expenses, as well as the rewards, among all the partners.
At Thoroughbred Racing Nation, we are passionate about racehorses, horse racing, and success! Whether you own 1%, 10%, 50%, or 100% of one of our racehorses, you are an owner, and this means you receive all the benefits and perks awarded to racehorse owners of every level of ownership
