Nation’s Posse (Caleb’s Posse / Act of Beauty, by Act of Duty) is a 2017 chestnut filly out of the Thoroughbred Racing Nation broodmare Act of Beauty (Act of Duty / Conway Kitty, by El Prado).
Her sire, Caleb’s Posse (Posse / Abbey’s Missy, by Slewacide) was on the board 15 out of 19 starts with career earnings of $1,423,379. He averaged almost $75,000 per start and in just a month after winning his Maiden Special Weight, he placed in the Gr.3 Arlington-Washington Futurity. He is a multiple Gr.1 winner of the Foxwoods King’s Bishop Stakes and the Gr.1 Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile. He also won the Clever Trevor Stakes (Listed), the Smarty Jones Stakes (Listed), the Gr.3 Ohio Derby, and the Gr. 2 Amsterdam Stakes.
Nation’s Posse’s dam, Act of Beauty (Act of Duty / Conway Kitty, by El Prado) is one of our broodmares at Thoroughbred Racing Nation. She was on the board in almost 60% of her races before retiring to her new career as a broodmare. She has produced one winner from one starter and is also the dam of our Anna One Anna Two (Fast Anna / Act of Beauty, by Act of Duty) who along with Nation’s Posse is in training with Susan Anderson at Belterra Park.
