Secret Move has been treated for EPM, a neurological ailment that’s resulted in weak hindquarter muscling in Secret. The initial treatment regime has resulted in visible improvement in his muscling but when he gallops its clear he is still weak in that area.
This week the vet is beginning another series of treatments with a stronger medication. The treatments will last about a month and if Secret shows improvement he’ll return to training. If not he’ll have to be retired. Let’s hope this second round of treatment does the trick.
